Remember when Gtown Womens was ranked 3rd even though the vast majority of coaches voted them as number 1? That was because 2 coaches forgot to include Gtown on the ballot at all. It looks like that at least one of the 3 coaches who ranked Gtown Coed as #1 did something similar for BC Coed this time around; otherwise how could the two teams almost be tied in points with such a discrepancy between first place votes?
Sailing World should do something to maintain the credibility of the poll from careless coaches. Wouldn't it make sense to throw out picks that are clearly baseless?
