(Was Orginally Writen With H.S. Sailors In Mind For Those Chilly Days in Spring)

Before zipping up the dry-suits or putting on the last bit of layers (this may take 6-10mins):

"Exhale as you go into the stretch, Inhale as you come out of the stretch"
  • Walking in place with a "high-knee"
  • Warm to...jogging in place
  • Jogging in place with a high-knee
  • Back to jogging in place
  • Hopping in place and shake out the arms and upper body a bit
  • Stop the hop...arms out to sides an easy rotation to the left and right (loosen up the torso)
  • Ease this into a long reach to the right, back to center, and reach to the left...repeat 3x
  • Return to center, standing tall, take a deep breathe in and on the exhale (slow and easy exhale), reach to your toes and hang-out for 3 easy inhales and exhale, roll back up after the last to standing position.
  • Shake it out a bit...
  • Zip it up (the dry-suit!)
  • Have a great practice and don't forget your sun block and bottle of water for the water!
