And so the Sailgroove Bump seems to have had its effect: every coed team that Sailgroove has visited since the last rankings has improved in these latest rankings. Roger Williams, Brown, Tufts, MIT, Harvard, and Rhode Island, you're welcome. To those teams that have dropped in the rankings, it may be time to set up a meeting.

But seriously, the only major shakeup in the coed rankings is Yale, formerly ranked 2nd, dropping to 6th. After their brilliant finishes at Harry A's, Hatch Brown and Hood (3rd, 2nd, 1st, respectively), the team of Barrows/Belling and Morris/Becton has failed to live up to the standards they set for themselves. One might point to the absence of Jane Macky/Marla Menninger, who were so pivotal in the Harry A's and Hatch Brown. Of course, it could just be a fluke--in the Danmark, the only major intersectional since the last rankings, Yale lost to the four teams now ranked ahead of them. For these Northeastern teams, the Hoyt and the Schell will be the best gauge before the ACC's.

URI, Coast Guard and UC/ Santa Barbara join the coed list for the first time this season.

In the women's world, no major changes to report, but there is a solid shuffling of the top 6, most notably Yale's jump from 5th to 1st.
