Hello all,

The Sheehy Lexus of Annapolis Melges 24 Worlds wrapped up last week, and I was on Team Simplicity, led by owner/helm Simon Strauss, with tactician Bora Gulara (current Moth World Champion), trimmer Willem van Waay (current Melges 32 World Champion), collegiate All-American rock-star crew Jane Delashmutt on the traveler, and me as bow. We finished a close 16th in a very stacked fleet of top M24 sailors. I've posted the full write-up on my website, as well as linked to some great videos that were taken throughout the week.

After enduring weeks of cold/rainy Annapolis weather, I'm headed off next week to St. Thomas to compete in the US Women's Match Racing Championships, to try to better our 2nd place finish from last year. After that I'm honored to head to my hometown Houston Yacht Club for a speech on Nov 20th, Thanksgiving week off, then back to St. Thomas to defend our win of the women's division in the Carlos Aguilar Memorial Match Race Regatta. I'll update soon from beautiful St. Thomas!

Best,
Genny
