It still isn't good for your ankles.

Seeing how Amanda's pretty darn good and they did just win nationals, I'd be willing to bet this is a pretty good way to do it. And besides, since when has hiking ever been good to any part of your body? I've seen people get ACL surgery and watched someone blow out their ankle right next to me in a laser race.
