Seph Coster talks about life as an offshore sailor.

Follow-up to the spinnaker discussion - I've found that gybing a symmetrical chute in changing breeze conditions (we had everything from 4 kts to 18 this weekend) is different than gybing an asym.
Getting the chute to rotate correctly around the boat, and the interplay between the driver, the guy on the guy, and getting the rotation right to keep the kite flying took a bit of getting used to from the "quick get the chute around the front" mentality on the 105. Either way, ride the curl and be vocal about pressure even when nobody's listening and you've got a good start. Great to see you again Chris. Thanks for covering the regatta!
