Unknown The sailor is much of the equation, but why pay 30% more for a boat that isn't any better?

ZoumUSA is approached regularly by top sailors in the world seeking some form of sponsorship. We dont give away our boats but we explain why they should buy a Zoum Racer. Zoum is taking market share because it is a better boat and a better value.

Much of the hardware, blocks, spars, & textiles on most every optimist originate in some measure in China but the quality of our product is second to none and our boats are assembled in the USA with imported and domestic supplies. Our PVC foam is Swedish Divinycell also supplied to Winner. Our gelcoats, topcoat, and resin are from Ashland Chemical. We use the best adhesive which is manufactured in the UK. The Zoum Racer is in fact fully assembled in the USA and fitted with better and more expensive standard components than any other optimist. So next time "Unknown" you find yourself at a regatta reach in and touch the 3/8" shock cord in a Zoum and compare it to the 1/4" stuff youve got in the boat you paid so much for.
