The San Diego Yacht Club is proud to welcome the 2009 Snipe World Championships to San Diego, California, USA this summer. Teams from across the globe will sail in the waters off of Point Loma with a World Championship at stake. Held in odd numbered years, the 2009 World Championship of the Snipe Class International Racing Association is the 44th time the Commodore Hub E. Isaacks Trophy will be contested, a perpetual that dates back to 1934. Eighteen countries from four continents are vying for the title.
