To be honest, I know he took a lot of heat for this, but I actually thought in being at the event that it was excellent race management and the whole idea of 4 starting boats worked very well. I have been to about 10 or so opti events in the past 3 months including Nationals, and I have not had a race committee or PRO done as good a job as the group did at the opti new englands. I commend their ability to communicate before the starts on the channel that everyone was listening to instead of using the cell phone. And on a more important point, YOU DONT HAVE TO HAVE ALL OF THE BOUYS SET TO BEGIN A RACE. Thank you Ken. Great Job. |
