We're back! With the 2009-2010 College Sailing season underway, Sailgroove's Chalk Talk (CT) series returns. Each week we'll break down the latest news and results in the Intercollegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) and analyze it. Don't like what you're hearing? Have something to add? Use the comment box to get in on the conversation. Let CT be a jumping-off point for all things College Sailing.

NEISA vs the world
Too bad we didn't get to hear more about teams outside of NEISA, particularly for the women's singlehanded's. Eric's point was pretty spot on though about how practiced the incoming laser sailors are each year. Chris' coverage got pretty good last year at branching out to other districts. Hopefully we will see that soon. |

I wouldn't be surprised to see SMC come out ahead if Menninger is sailing B. pretty similar conditions and they've historically done well there. |

What happened to Pat? Good work though guys. |

Seeing as how SMC still has the same duo that won nats, beat Yale at the last Danmark with the same matchup, and Menninger also won A last time at CGA. That being said it will still be a good battle. I dont think either team will walk away.
