Sarah and Amanda,
My 18 year old son has been sailing in Maine since he was 8. He is a camp counselor in the summer for sailing in Round Pound, Maine. We live in NJ and he will be starting his freshman year at Connecticut College in the Fall. He never really raced and seems to be a bit nervous about going out for the team because so many of the kids have long resumes for racing. I would like to get him some racing experience this summer or even this Spring in NJ before he heads up to Maine. I thought it may give him the confidence to at least try out for the team. The main instructor, jaja Martin at the camp, says he has natural talent and just needs some experience racing. Any recommendations on where to get him the training would be helpful.
