ISAF releases new versions of the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) every four years, going into effect on January 1 after each Olympic year. The current rules are RRS 2009-2012 (download a copy here.) To further clarify the rules in the RRS, ISAF also publishes call books for match racing and team racing and occasionally releases "Rapid Response" calls. In these videos, rules expert Matt Knowles deconstructs three new calls and explains why they are important for all sailors to understand.
