Description
The second half of the double-header that is Vanguard 15 Midwinters ,the team racing portion brings together many of the top team racing teams from the National and Collegiate circuits. Because of the season, many teams haven't sailed together for some time--the Hinman was in early October and the Collegiate season ended last June--so this is a great chance to shake of the rust before spring.

I added 6 photos that I took from the mark set boat during the fleet racing that occurred prior to the team racing.

A long Day 2 brought three more Gold and Silver round robins to the fleet. Now all that's left is the finals, a knockout format for the final four and another round robin for the bottom seven.

At the end of Day 1, after the 1st round robin, three teams are tied for first with 9-1 records: Double Rainbow, Golden Arches and Tannery Loungers.

Day 2 begins with a 2nd round robin for Gold (top 5) and Silver (bottom 6) fleets. At the end of RR2, the top team from Silver will move up to Gold for RR3. Scores carry over and Gold wins count double.

Racing will begin shortly and videos will be posted this evening.
