Chris reports breeze is finally on, with 10-15 knots of pressure. Race 7A just finished. URI is hanging on by a thread to a 5 point lead, with just an 11 point spread from 1st to 6th. Can the Rams hold on to pull off a stunner?

If the highlights aren't enough, there's some live video coming from the RC boat:

It's a strange phenomenon when the wind gauge reads 0 knots on the Columbia.

At 3:30, it will clock west and fill to 10 knots. Hopefully you ladies get some racing in.

Why don't they sacrifice a coach to the wind gods... They should have done that last year in Madison, but the idea was disregarded..

Looks like the teams that sailed semis the past two days have the jump on the fleet in the finals races so far (2 in each set). Top 6 teams are all semi qualifiers, Saint Mary's is the highest automatic qualifier in 7th. BC is all the way back in a tie for 14th. How long before the top-seeded teams figure it out?

Where is there live coverage? Can someone paste the link?
Bad news this morning--no wind on the river. We're all crossing our fingers that something blows in later today. Sailgroove is not doing live coverage this year, but West Coast Sailing has been doing some streaming from a cellphone camera. Check out if/when racing starts. You can get instant updates on twitter @sailgroove and @collegesailing
