TAMUG sent a victorious group of 6 sailors to Mobile, AL this past weekend. TAMUG was able to go undefeated for 9 races total. Conditions were better than forecasted with sunny skies in the low 60's and a steady wind of 9-12. 3 full rotations were completed. A big thanks to Casey and Dana of USAsailing for hosting us and showing us a great time! |

This past weekend TAMUG sent a total of 18 sailors to make up 3 full teams for the McCarthy Cup team race regatta in Austin, TX. Saturday presented patchy and delayed sailing, with postponements and poor racing conditions. The majority of the races continued on sunday with winds around 22mph. |

During TAMUGÂ’s re-location (students and faculty) to College Station, the Sailing Team has continued to compete. Thanks to everyone, the Team placed first and second in the MenÂ’s Singles and first in the WomenÂ’s Singles at Districts. As a result, TAMUG will be represented in the ICSA MenÂ’s and WomenÂ’s Singlehanded Nationals (an all-freshmen team!) at Cornell University in Ithaca NY Oct 24-26 (forecast calls for wind out of the south 8-14 knots; 40-60 degrees). |

This past weekend Texas A&M;hosted their Aggie Fall regatta. Conditions were terribly light and boring, it was basically a float fest. despite having 2 overweight boats (no offense!) we still placed 2nd place. David Valentine & Ben Robins sailed A-division, Laura Stamets & Jill Noack sailed B-division. |

Christine Barbour's Photo Video of the USA trip has made the front page of Sailgroove.org. Thanks to Chris Love for producing the page banner, it looks great!
