On January 12, 2011, Edgewood Yacht Club in Cranston, RI burnt to the ground. The boats and docks were not damaged, so racing continued this spring, including Brown University, who call Edgewood home. Today the members of EYC are pressing on, building temporary facilities for the summer before starting a complete permanent rebuild.
