Nick Hayes is the Author of the book "Saving Sailing." Nick loves to sail in his free time and shares it prolifically. But he’s also concerned about the decline of sailing and other ‘Life Pastimes’, as he calls them. The book combines facts from thorough research and is honest about the realities of changing American lifestyles, family dynamics and culture. It reminds us of the pure joy and larger consequences of sailing (and other Life Pastimes) in our lives and for the people around us. While not everyone will embrace Nick’s bold conclusions, he provides them with the intent of helping to make sailing as irresistible for others as it is for him and for his family.
