In the spring season (April 1 to early June), the main activity of the Mass. Bay League is competitive racing with the teams
divided into divisions according to ability and interest. Their Fleet Racing Championship at the end of the spring season is the largest high school regatta
in the country with more than 70 boats and nearly 200 sailors.
During the fall season (September 1 to October 31), schools have the opportunity for instructional
or recreational sailing. While most of the schools in the League are Racing Members and sail in the
spring, others are Recreational Members sailing…
