+ See More - See Less - Greg Koman started his collegiate sailing experience at Connecticut College before transferring to the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Upon arriving at Umass, Greg immediately took over the leadership role of the team and under his tenure turned it into the top ranked student-run sailing team in New England. Since graduating, Greg coached the Dover-Sherborn High School sailing team in Massachusetts until the Spring of 2006. In the summer, he has directed programs in Sherborn and Scituate, MA, and more recently, has captained a ship for the adventure sailing camp, Sail Caribbean. Greg's first season with UVM sailing was the fall of 2007.
A Dedicated Assistant Coach Greg Koman Meet Coach Koman, who generously donates his time and has become a big part of the UVM team. He is US Sailing's 2009 Volunteer Coach of the Year.
